To make a film you have to start with an idea where a person must think of a plot, charaters and will have written a script containing dialogue and stage directions.
Pre-production is the next in making a film where you have to storyboard your script the storyboard is an inportant part as it a way for the idea to flow and you know what shots to use in each frame, normally the writer and director work together on this. Another part of pre-production is finding the location that fits your film idea and hiring crew to help make your film happen. Casting the actors is another part of pre-production and you have to start budgeting for your film before you find the fundings to make it.
They need to find someone who is willing to fund their film idea.
Once you have the fundings to make your film the production of it is when you actually start filming this part is boring for actors as it invovles a lot of waiting around and some scenes are shot more than once if something goes wrong or they want it from another angle. A breakdown script is one of the most important documents that the director has on hand it lists the equipment and props that are needed during filming. Once the filming is done the it is edited into roughly an hour and half long film and sound is added before marketing and distrubtion.
Markering, distrubution and exibiton is when you reasle the film to cinemas if the does well on its first realse the cinemas will continue to show it and reasle it on DVD to earn back the money spent on the prodution. If the film doesn't do well when it is first reasled the cinema will not comtinue to show it.
